2026 strategy study

In early 2026 the team at Moonraker Innovation conducted a study to answer the question of:

“Where do organisations experience friction in translating vision through strategy and planning?

To do this, we conducted a literature review, broke down strategy and planning into it’s constituent phases and conducted a survey of 102 CEOs (and some other senior leaders) into their perceptions on how their organisation performed at the various phases. We’ve now published our findings in a report but also created a short, readable document to walk interested parties through the key elements of the study, as well as highlighting options for solving the problem in the future.
